Help for fraud and misuse
We can help with fake refund emails, being directed to LINE, and financial losses. Choose the situation that applies and follow the guidance.
Urgentyou transferred money or entered card or bank details
- Credit card: call your card issuer (number on the back of the card) immediately and ask them to suspend the card.
- Bank transfer: contact the receiving and sending banks immediately. The sooner you act, the better the chance of recovery.
- If you entered online banking login details: contact your bank and change your password.
- Contact the police: consultation line #9110, or the cybercrime desk of your prefectural police.
- Please also tell us. Select "I transferred money or entered card details" as the inquiry type and we will prioritize your case.
Cautionyou received a suspicious email, SMS or LINE message, or opened a link without entering anything
- Do not reply. Do not access the links or LINE accounts in the message.
- If you already added the LINE account, block and delete it.
- If you did not enter anything on the linked page, there is usually no harm (WASABI SWITCH does not hold card information, so no card information was leaked in this incident).
- You may delete the email. If you can help us, please send the date received and sender address via the form.
Checkyou want to know whether you are affected
- Send your purchase details (store name, order number, email used for the order, etc.) via the inquiry form.
- We will contact you individually once the investigation results are available.
- See the "Status report" page for the latest situation.
Known methods
Emails quoting leaked order information (order date, item, amount, delivery details, etc.) and asking recipients to contact a LINE account for an "out-of-stock refund" have been confirmed. They are sent from free email addresses unrelated to the stores.
