Important[First report] Apology and report on the data leak caused by unauthorized access to WASABI SWITCH
On October 14, 2026, a third party gained unauthorized access to the WASABI SWITCH system, and order information belonging to stores using the service was leaked. We believe the suspicious emails received by customers misuse this leaked information.
- Access on October 14: the entry route was identified and blocked, the malicious program was removed and preventive measures were put in place
- Separate access around 4:00 a.m. on October 16: the entry route has been identified and countermeasures are under way
We are investigating the scope of the leak with an external cybersecurity firm and will take all necessary steps, including reporting to the Personal Information Protection Commission and other authorities.
